Ruta Nativa is not simply a company. We are a family. For years we have been involved with the exploration, conservation and protection of the island natural and cultural environment and we work directly with environmental education initiatives in schools and communities to create awareness of the importance of protecting our island geography. Our unique team is composed of biologist, ecologists, geographers, filmmakers, photographers and adventure enthusiast. All extensively trained in vertical rescue techniques, CPR and First Aid in order to make the trip as safe and enjoyable as possible.
We have designed two main adventures in the Tanamá River, which include hiking, rappelling, body rafting, caving and canyoneering. Our unique adventures are focused on the education and preservation of natural and cultural recourses of the Tanamá River and its outlying areas. Participants don’t need previous experience to be part of our adventures. They are commonly designed for 6 to 12 participants. Our team is highly trained and knowledgeable in rescue and first aid techniques. We offer all the equipment necessary for the adventures. Your only worry is to enjoy what the Tanamá River has to offer.
Our team is ready to assist in the reservation and planning of your adventure.
